Special delivery arrangement during the outbreak of the novel coronavirus
( Updated on 18 Sep, 2020: Door-to-door pick-up and delivery service for residential addresses has been resumed normal from 24 Aug from the announcment of YAMATO LOGISTICS(HK).)
YAMATO LOGISTICS(HK) has announced on delivery delays on account of the spread of the new coronavirus infection.
In light of the recent situation of novel coronavirus infection, to prevent further spread in the community, pick-up and delivery service provided by YAMATO LOGISTICS (HK) will be temporarily suspended for following locations: quarantine centres and "buildings in which confirmed cases of novel coronavirus infection have stayed during the symptomatic phase in the past 14 days".

If YAMATO LOGISTICS (HK) has already picked up shipments which are delivering to the above locations, they will contact customers for alternative arrangement as soon as possible.
If shipments are to be picked up from or delivered to any hospitals and clinics, drivers from YAMATO LOGISTICS (HK) will call consignees upon arrival and have shipments handed over at the entrance. Thank you.
Also, due to the outbreak of COVID-19, volume of shipments handled by Yamato keeps on increasing.
Deliveries may be subject to delays for 2 to 3 working days or more depending on the situation. It is also difficult to arrange deliveries according to customers’ preferred time zones.
Drivers will provide pre-calls or SMS, etc. before deliveries to confirm arrival times. However, depending on delivery and operation situation, there might be circumstances that consignees were not being notified about the delays.
We regret about the inconveniences caused. We will try the best to resume our normal delivery service. Thank you for your kind understanding.
