1Cut cabbage into chunks. Cut the hard core into thin diagonal slices.
2Put the [marinade] and whitebait in a pot and heat. When it comes to a boil, add the cabbage and simmer while pressing down lightly with chopsticks until the cabbage softens. Allow the whole pot to cool.
3Place (2) in a bowl and top with dried bonito flakes. Sprinkle with white sesame seeds and shichimi (seven spice).
