Ginger Pickled in Honey with Japanese Amberjack
ブリのしょうが煮

Pickled Ginger in Honey contains plenty of ginger, with gingerol having the effect of warming up the body.

Ingredients (for 2people)

Japanese Amberjack   2 slices

Soy sauce 【A】 4 tbsp

Wine【A】 5 tbsp

 

Ginger Pickled in Honey【A】 2 tbsp

Mirin【A】   2 tbsp

Dashi soup【A】 200ml/Cup

 

 

How to cook:

1Wash the Amberjack with salt water and wipe off the water.

2Put the ingredients of the broth [A] in a large pot, boil them, and put them side by side so that the Amberjack do not overlap.

3Remove the lid , remove the lye, and simmer while sprinkling the broth until the amount of broth is about 1/3.

4Turn off the heat , rest for 5 to 10 minutes, ensure the fish is  absorb the soup.
